Small yet sturdy barbecue, lowest price its been for a year.
This has popped up before on HUKD and seems popular. This is the authentic Landmann version provided by Amazon (all cast iron), not one of the 'redwood leisure' or countless other knockoffs that are sold.
Note: this really is quite small, check the dimensions. Perfect for 2-4 people but don't expect to entertain a group with it.
Double up as a nice patio log burner or for roasting chestnuts this winter. Lots of feedback suggesting hit and miss whether you receive the genuine article or a copy but with Amazon it's easy to back. Ordered, thanks.

Use the cone shaped cooking chamber as a vortex, the large cooking grate as a cast iron sear great for the center of your kettle and the small charcoal grate fits smaller chimney starter's as an afterburner grill, easily reassembled for versatility!

Or you can buy from alternative sellers the same product delivered for £7.80.. on same listing look at other buying options, it will arrive from China, but they all come from the same factory. If you can wait 2-3 weeks prices don't get better than this.. I ordered one an hour ago to see if it was real, and it's just been dispatched with tracking number via China post.. :-)

You won't receive the same product (German Landmann). Even when buying from UK based Amazon sellers there is a good chance you'll receive a different item (as per gibbles post).
The fact that the £7.80 seller claims its dispatched from the US but you get a China post tracking number is suspicious.

Maybe not, I didn't mention that it was coming from the US, I said China, but the fact is that it's advertised as the same product, and if it works, how important is the country of manufacture really? I suspect that if it's Chinese cast iron, there's not much chance of a fault occurring any quicker than German iron?

The person who is selling this for £7.80 seems to be selling loads of other items for the same price :thinking:
And no feedback is a big flag imho... I don't think this can be shipped from China subsided post

My folks have a similar one of these that's older than I am. The legs rusted through eventually but that's nothing being propped up on a few bricks won't solve.

In the days when we used to have BBQ's, this was the only one that always worked first time. Fantastic little BBQ and extremely effective.

I cleared the shelf in Tesco a few years back of these when they reduced them from £30 to £15 to £7.50. Made excellent gifts. I would only bbq on cast iron grills like this where you get the big burnt lines on your meat. An excellent BBQ with great air flow and will least for many years. Heat!

It is a good little BBQ and will last because it's Cast Iron.
The grill size is small though so I wouldn't expect to feed any more than 2-3 people on it.
It's not very portable either due to it's weight... A good over view here cookbakeeat.com/bes…qs/
