Oh, for a moment there I thought you'd developed a slight speech impediment.
Seriously though, out of all the names they could come up with they had to choose one that sounds like you're trying to say Hanna with a mouthful of winegums :unamused:

Kona have lots of wierdly named bikes including honky, hei hei, Big kahuna and paddy wagon. I've got 2 kona bikes a hoss and lanai. The Lanai is totally crap both rubbish frame and components but the Hoss is good.
This bike looks good value but not great value. You could probably get a better bike elsewhere for similar money with hydraulic disc brakes and better forks. The Carrera Vulcan is £370 at halfords and looks a much better bike but that is full price and if you play the waiting game offers come along at Halfords and you might be able to get it below this price. The Carrera Vengeance is about £250 and looks about the same spec, a few things better a few things worse but really about the same overall.
Available for home delivery according to the website.

Most potential buyers would probably be better off with a hybrid. Cheap mountain bikes are no longer the universal bike choice.

I have a few bikes, but if i was to have only one, it would be a cyclocross bike.

I would probably opt for a grave/adventure road bike. Read hybrid with drop bars;)

I ride a Kona Lavadome 2006.I upgraded the shifters to Deore, and put an oil touring shock on it. I haven't ridden it for a while but remember it being super on climbs.
Is the frame of the Hahanna any good ?

Cheap Alu frame with modern geometry would be my guess. Finding spares for your Lavadome is the main issue if looking for reasons to buy new

I don't think Kona are the brand they once where. I like the older Konas and Marins etc. This one seems decent enough, but it ain't high end.

Kona have had a bit if a dip in the early 00s but their recent Precept, Process, Honzo, etc models are considered as good as it gets. Of course this one isnt high end, it's their cheapest model iirc, the Hahanna always has been.

Kona bike names always used to have a Hawaiian or Volcano theme, lavadome, cindercone, explosif, hei hei, etc.

Kona had brilliant names back in the day, King Kikapu, xplosif, Jake the snake, are a few that spring to mind.

Fork and brakes are pretty bad, not sure if it is worth even at that price... Not voting

TRUE that! The components are shocking. Will give the bike (not voting) a miss
