Black leather action shoes with the rubber over toe in a couple of different styles (but still the trainer/casual look) velcro fasten. I paid £30 something out of m&s for almost identical but less comfortable looking pair. Size 10+ in my local store.

It really depends on the child, my older son has alway made his shoe last weather expensive or cheap.
The youngest always wreaks his shoes, his first pair of £40 + start right shoes lasted a week. Its ridiculous I've told him time and time again to look after his shoes but they always end up trashed. Now I'll buy 2 or 3 cheap pairs like this to get him through the year.
The only down side I see is the limited sizing 10 - 2
Grab them if your child's feet are that size.

Don't know about cheap weather; cheap weather forecast, yes.

Clearly for the kids who like their Skittles  I'm not sure how people work out they're not leather - says it on all labels and they don't seem any different to said m&s ones. Maybe not and I'm missing something - still, do a turn as a spare imo

Great value and look decent, however the website says in store from 13th July so I think its safe to assume the vast majority of stores will have sold out by now as Aldi special buys tend to only be around for a week or so at best
