Google Home is optimised for selected music services only. Even if you're using Multi-user and Google Home is meant to recognise your voice, keep in mind that a voice similar to yours, or a recording of your voice, could result in Google incorrectly recognising someone else as you.
Google Home requires a Wi-Fi network, a nearby electrical outlet, and a compatible (Android, iOS) mobile device. Minimum OS requirements are available at g.co/home/req.

Same price at John Lewis, but they have a 2 year warranty.

Worth noting Google Home comes with a 2 year warranty direct from Google as standard.

VoucherCodes were offering an extra £10 voucher on top of the £10 voucher for spending over £100 with Argos. As I'd not used VoucherCodes I'll wait until I've confirmation that it has tracked first.

Google Home vs. Amazon Echo?

Can't speak as to audio quality as I'm comparing Google Home against an Echo Dot but I prefer the Google Home because it integrates better with my Androidwear watch; Chromecast & Chromecast Audio better.
Apparently the Echo can take control of the Fire TV but I have the first version of the Fire TV and this happens to be the one version that doesn't integrate with the Echo Dot.

Google it, there's multilple sites and videos doing a comparison. Typically the Home comes out on top.

I really want this but can't justify putting them in every room like I have with the Dots....
