ususally you get what you pay for. Just £15, I question the real quality and if it would be good enough as evidence

Looks reasonable to me, mind you I can understand you would want a lot better and at £15 its a lot of money for an inferior product lol

1 Mega pixel, 25fps @ 1080, 90 degree viewing angle . not that great compared to the a118c I posted yesterday which is 3mp, 30fps @1080, but I guess Ok for 15 squid

Not sure does it has any impact or not but picture quality is
"12 MP camera Take high quality pictures with 12 MP camera and zoom up to 4 times digitally."

A quick google indicates:- 1 MP CMOS Processor NT96220
and video compression is MJPEG.
Now, a 1 MP sensor has half the resolution of 1080p.
The NT96220 video processor is old slow and cheap and used in very cheap low end dashcams, and simply not capable of real 1080p, 1080p mode is interpolated from 720p. As it records using MJPEG the recordings are at least double the size of a more modern compression method like h264, which means you need a faster sd card too.
I would avoid any dash cam that records using mjpeg.

I put the same deal on a few weeks back... Sure it's not the best quality.. but for £15 the quality does what you need it to do.

What does "lcd off" actually do ? Mine stays on all the time, despite the setting.
