Grab yourself a free sim from Lebara with £1 free credit included. That means you don't even need to topup to get it. They're a fantastic network with no contracts. They offer competitive national & international call rates worldwide so you could save a fair bit of money by choosing Lebara.

Really expensive for calls, texts and data. Seems a bit of effort for a quids worth of credit that gives you nearly 7 minutes airtime.

Took me about 20 seconds. If that's a bit much effort, then I think you might be on the wrong site :unamused:

This should have TCB too.
Personally I'd check if their other offer was still running - I'm using it at the mo - £1 for 1000mins, unlimited texts and 2gb of data for one month. No rolling contract if you cancel the auto renew AND my TCB has tracked at £2.02 so I may well be paid to use it!

It is not really free as you have to top it up . Typically £10. As far as I am aware you cannot roll it over and if you have not topped up you cannot make free calls to other Lebara users. A lot of the Polish community have them .
15p per min to a mobile , 9 p per min to a landline and 19p for a text and 15 p for voicemail.
A friend of mine has one and rang me having just put £5 credit on it. In the space of one call to me the £5 went !
There is supposed to be something called an active bundle which you can sign or ring up for and £10 gets you a better deal , but you still have to use it within that Month .
If you know lots of other Lebara users , then it is worth getting their SIM as the FREE calls to other LEBARA users will only COST YOU £10 per Month !

It's not just the 20 seconds is it. You open the sim , power off your phone. remove the cover, remove or double up with a dual sim. Replace both and power on the phone. Then tell your phone which sim to use for the whole 6.6 minutes and then reverse the process. For the effort involved versus the reward because no person in their right mind is going to use the normal Lebara PAYG rates I stick by my original comment about getting the sim and replying to with this post are really a waste of keyboard life and my own. :unicorn:

Wow! Thanks for that. And I stick by my original comment, I think you might be on the wrong site! WHo said anything about dual sim phones?? It could very well be used in a second handset or a variety of situations. If those aren't for you then fine, and feel free to save your keyboard life...

Now that talkmobile has gone tits this has become the vodafone locked rate tarts network but all you have to go is 30 days on a new vodafone sim and make a phonecall in the phone you want to unlock and vodafone will unlock it for free. Ofcom should make it illegal to charge for unlocking phones tbh. Heat for the freebie though good for a temp situation
