Struggled to even eat half of it the seasoning in it was too much , prefer the smaller ones .

Someone at work got me one yesterday as a joke and didn't think I could eat it but it was actually alright although I needed 2 pints of water with it. At 48, 5ft 11inch high and weighing 10st 6 I'm not going to worry about the fat content to much haha

I did do a search but nothing showed up. the link you posted is in discussions not deals.

I think that was because the OP (a Mod or editor as they are called these days ) realised it wasn't really much of a deal when 5x5" ones are normally £2 .

8 Aug 17#9
some people like long ones, some want lots of shorter sausages in them. not many people have one that's a whole foot in length so maybe people are right to be excited by it.... unless then measure it using the subway ruler, they claim they have 6 inches and its an empty boast as if check its more like 5.

Thanks for posting, as I didn't see the deal earlier. No harm is done if deals are duplicated.

So we should all repost previous posts in the hope that one eventually gets your attention ? Seems to be what you are saying - tell me if I'm wrong . I have a life , thanks for asking - Yourself ?
yespleasesir to rogparki
8 Aug 17#50
I didn't ask if you had a life . I told you to get a life. Maybe read the comment thoroughly before responding. And most people don't spend all day on here , looking through every single post . So if someone posts an offer that's already been posted, it's actually helpful. It certainly doesn't deserve criticism from you

Jeez! By my reckoning there must be about 60g saturated fat in this monster. That's double the RDA for a man and three times for a woman... Happy heart attack!

Iate four of these yesterday - and feel fine. A friend of mine had a mild heart attack this morning (thankfully he'll recover) and he hasn't eaten a sausage roll in years!
On that evidence, a lack of sausage rolls in one's diet is dangerous!!!!!

Saw one in Morrisons today. Humanity has hit an all time low! Good grief, it looked like something that someone would eat on YouTube for a challenge and immediately be sent to hospital.

That`s way bigger than 12" the pies n pasties, sausage rolls from Morrisons Pie counters are very nice and i am quite experienced in these matters LOL

It doesn't always help to compare length/girth, but in this case, I think it gives a valuable insight.

prefer the 8 sausage rolls for a pound especially if still hot......ps how do Morrisons get away with not having to put in the fridge to display and just having on a table in the bags??
ianshona to mattinhull
8 Aug 17#49
Because they only have a one day life and don't suffer temperature shock which encourages bacteria growth.

Well... It's actually in the legislation:
The Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013 SCHEDULE 4 Temperature control requirements
Chill holding requirements 2.—(1) Subject to sub-paragraph (2) and paragraph 3, any person who keeps any food —
(a)which is likely to support the growth of pathogenic micro-organisms or the formation of toxins; and
(b)with respect to which any commercial operation is being carried out,
at or in food premises at a temperature above 8°C commits an offence.
Chill holding tolerance periods 5.—(1) In any proceedings for an offence consisting of a contravention of sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2, it shall be a defence for the accused to prove that the food —
(a)was for service or on display for sale;
(b)had not previously been kept for service or on display for sale at a temperature above 8°C or, where a recommendation has been made pursuant to sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 4, the recommended temperature; and
(c)had been kept for service or on display for sale for a period of less than four hours.

It needs to be at least 2ft long before I'll bite at this.
Heat added though - this is a great deal for Morrisons army of OAP's shoppers and kids on benefits!
Not that theirs any harm in that - just an observation

That looks much bigger than a foot in the picture, must be using some fancy camera lense like estate agents do to make properties look bigger
Ego-X to montgomery19
8 Aug 17#22
Holding things closer to the lens distorts the perspective. Fishermen use the same technique a lot too.

Probably all pastry and about 10% meat. And the meat itself only 10% actual pork and the rest fillers lol

Just had one. Managed to eat 6 inches on my first attempt. Well worth £1

8 Aug 17#13
I can't prove it with pics but I promise with a hand on my heart that the meat inside is substantial compared to the level of pastry. There is always a good meat-to-pastry ratio in Morrisons sausage rolls. So the price right now is more of an introductory offer...with the intention of raising it? that's still a deal in my book.
