Found this on clearance at £16.25 in Tesco Dunfermline, doesn't seem to be available on Tesco's website. Thought it had to be worth a punt at this price for a single malt! Seems to get favorable reviews. Bottled at 42%.

Oddly, Tesco did a clearance a couple of years ago, of several whiskies, this one included, at a similar price. Then they started to stock it again within very little time.
Off to the big T we go. :thumbsup:

I purchased this last time it dropped at Big T.
It's extremely fruity, so much so that I would probably sideline it as a Christmas tipple. It is also sweet, the colouring is indicative of the caramels and hint of char which lies beneath its fruitcake qualities.
It's a nice whisky, but very much an occasional dram rather than part of your regular line-up.
A bit like eating Christmas pud. (And don't tell me you just eat it at Xmas, I've seen you buy a cheeky individual one in September.).

Thanks for your assessment! I probably won't get around to trying this for a long time, I'm trying to get through my open bottles before starting anymore :joy: I'll save it for Christmas 2024 :joy:
