Refresh Rate
30Hz, i mean wtf. You would never go below the standard 60Hz, and most people are looking at 144Hz! Dont know where the op is getting 60Hz from?

Incredibly good value of specs are correct. (Not 30hz, but I'm pretty sure that isn't an option!)

Is confusing states it is 2160 @ 60hz then in the specification states it is only 30hz so what is it?

Is this 2160 @ 60hz and 4k @ 30hz ?

4k is 2160 (3840x2160). Looking at the reviews, people are saying its 60fps however they aren't saying many nice things about it. If you really have to have 4k, go for it, otherwise buy a decent 1440p for similar money.

if getting ps4 pro or upcoming xbox one x, wouldnt a 4k monitor be getting the most out of it vs 1440p?

I don't use consoles, I assumed everyone just purchased TV's for them?
I was speaking specifically for PC's. And from the comments above, it's looking like it's 60hz via Displayport only do it really isn't suitable for consoles.

No room for a TV in my room where I have my consoles. For some reason you just can't get a 4k TV below 40". I know the benefits of 4k are lost somewhat at distance, but I thought there would still be demand. I'm interested in a 4k monitor for an Xbox One X but so far they've all been stupidly expensive.

1440p isn't supported on the PS4 pro. Yeah some games are rendered at that but trust me there is no option for 1440p. Also 4k monitors need to support HDMI2.0 as some only do 60hz through DP and 30hz through hdmi1.4. The PS4 doesn't work at 4k with HDMI1.4.

I need a new monitor, what's good 1440p for similar money? I thought decent monitors all started at twice this price.

I'm not in the market for one right now I afraid. You are right though, the good ones start at around £400 but you will be able to get a branded 1440p 60hz or if you prefer, a higher refresh rate 1080p around the £200 mark - this is even below entry level for 4k

Can anyone confirm this is 60hz? If so bargain!

It is freesync, this means the refresh rate can change depending on what your computer is capable of pushing out.
I assume low is 30hz and high is 144?

TN panel. Not IPS. Amazon also claims 60Hz.
Not for me, but hopefully the info will help anyone interested.

Not sure 1440p is even going to be a possible resolution on XB1 - is it possible on PS Pro?
