My daughter bought a Doogee Shoot 1 a few months back for a mere £77 and she's been very happy with it.

If she's a youngster, did she pay with her own money/savings, or did you pay for it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Gone and pre-ordered one. Never tried a Chinese brand phone. Got to be worth a shot at that price though.

It's a nice spec for the price just be wary I've got the Doogee mix and was great from the start good build quality and a nice screen large storage plenty off ram but more i use it i found more issues with it, poor wifi signal, stuttering performance, poor camera performance in low light and to focus properly fingerprint didn't work it became frustrating to use, im using a huawei phone and not had these issues.

I'm not expecting the world for £110, so shouldn't be too disappointed. Never been one for top range phones. My current handset is the Vodafone Smart ultra 6, which I was perfectly happy with until I dropped it, and now the touchscreen comes and goes, or flips out and starts registering presses all over the place!

It's got a massive battery and 64 gig plus 4 gig off ram plus a 1080p display you won't get that sort off spec in the UK for that price, it's good value just think these companies let themselves down with the software side and camera performance hopefully you won't be disappointed.

Doogee is definitely league 1 in terms of Chinese phones and I'd be wary of buying any of their devices without a review.
For the record, my subjective rating of Chinese phone manufacturers is below :sunglasses: this is based on a hell of a lot of research & ownership. I've missed loads though.
Premier League Xiaomi Huawei/Honor OnePlus Asus Meizu
Asus is a Taiwanese brand instead of Chinese though. Similarly you wouldn't classify HTC and Acer as Chinese brands.

Ha. Thanks for that, I wouldn't want to start a diplomatic incident :worried:

You forgot Apple IPhone also made in China i'd put them in league 1 as well just because of extortionate price

Agree 100 percent although Asus is a Taiwanese phone manufacturer.
You missed out LeEco and Vivo, two big names from China

Doogee is negative from me . Subsidise phones by putting spyware in the official ROM software. If you don't care of your privacy and security ,only then buy Doogee

Nonsense.....I have been using a Doogee F5 for nearly a year and i have not had one problem...Their phones are great but be aware that customer support from Doogee is non existent,i have contacted them plenty of times with no response at all.If customer support is important to you, avoid Doogee

Just scan your phone with anti virus and see what comes out

I am now on my 6th Chinese phone, Star S5,Thl W200S,Thl 2015,huawei, Xiaomi redmi note 3, and Xiaomi Mi6 and have never had any spyware on any of them. I run malwarebytes on every phone i have bought and only time it picked anything up was 2 PUP's (possible unwanted program ) with low risk indicator on the redmi note 3, they were genuine Xiaomi apps which were not properly recognised by malwarebytes, but were after a malwarebytes update. The redmi note 3 was running the official Chinese rom and still is on the Chinese rom never had a problem with it in the 18 months ive had it.And only last week i got OTA system update for it must be arround the 12th OTA update in the 18 months i have had the phone,so not bad still getting updates 18 months later

worth mentioning that it has Android 7.0 and is dual sim (Micro SIM + Nano SIM) although it looks like you can't use a memory card if you use the 2nd sim

Most mobile phones are made in China but all of them are not created equal. I had to return Doogee phone loaded with malware. When I contacted Doogee ,they said only way I could remove malware was to Root the phone. If you root the phone , you loose warranty, banking apps do not work and all rooting methods involve malware making Phone unsafe

My xiaomi phone was filled with malware when I bought it, so it's not just a problem with smaller mobile companies.
