Must use discount code DOB2S10 (10% off) to achieve the quoted price. This code runs out in the next few days. Very cheap for the spec. Even cheaper if you put it through your company and take the VAT off. I think laptop is good for video and photo editing and rendering. Probably not for serious gamers.

When I first enter the discount code against the basket I get the message
"The following coupons have been entered but require additional information or do not meet eligibility requirements. Click "View Details" link(s) for more information. 10% off all Dell Outlet Inspiron & XPS" and no discount is applied - is htere an error or do you have to get right through the checkout process before it shows ?

I have the 13.3" screen version of this. They are very good for what they are, but no dedicated graphics card may be a limit. Make sure you like the screen, some Dell screens are :poop: :face_with_monocle:

@4 Sure Don't know why yours isn't working. The code worked fine for me when I entered it during the checkout process. I've ordered one successfully.
Search for Dell Outlet in HUKD and you will find a posting with the list of discount codes currently active. Good luck.

Price before 10% discount shows as £899 for me. I guess it was less when this deal was posted?

Sounds like you went to the main Dell site, not Dell Outlet. The link seems to be routing people to the main Dell site now. Maybe Dell wised up?!
Ignore the link above. Search for Dell Outlet on Google and then for the above laptop in the outlet site. You will find this deal as shown in the pic below. The discount code will make it 10% cheaper, whilst its active. Good luck!

Have this exact laptop, i got it about 4 months ago at 854 including 1 year accidental cover. In all honesty its a decent laptop, runs up fast cus of the ssd (sata ssd btw) however recently had an issue where the laptop was doing updates (windows update) and the battery must have died, so kept getting a error message of So had to restore OS. Screen is pretty good, black could be better but its perfect for my eyesight. Personally only down side is it has no dedicated graphics card meaning i have to resort to the console for any heavy gaming.

Code doesn't work for me either + 10% off doesn't give the price suggested by the OP. Non-deal

I have had the opposite experience with Dell at work. This comes with a 12 month collect and return warranty.

I guess its like all companies - it depends on the experience you've had with them. Just like the poster above mentioned, I've also found their laptops to be less and less reliable. The biggest issue with Dell is the lack of support when that 12 months is up - they simply refuse to answer any questions or give any support. The only 'support' is to look through the FAQ's, which are useless for more advanced problems. The only response you get from Dell is an offer to purchase an extended support package, which is backdated to when the 12 months finished. Then they will consider speaking to you. My current Dell is three years old and the LCD has randomly decided to stop working. To speak to anyone at Dell I would need to first stomp up almost £300. It's so poor.
