Great find, and really good price. I have ordered one for my kitchen. Thank you.

Just remember this is a plastic bin, hence the "metal effect" in the title. Heat added all the same.

Which is actually ok as it's nice and light and resistant to dents, which is a common problem with bins I've found, no matter how careful you are

Not been in recently, but these were £15 in Home Bargains a few weeks ago :

Word of warning about these bins. I bought one and the one-touch operation mechanism broke after a few weeks through no fault of my own. Now the bin is permanently open. Basically the plastic catches on the lid are a bit flimsy and prone to breaking after a number of uses. Fortunately Amazon were happy to take it back but I'd be tempted to spend a bit more and get a better model without the magic 'one-touch' function.

on the flip side of that, we've had ours now for about 2 years, still the same bin (insert trigger 'same broom' skit here) and with two 2-4 year olds using it too and being infatuated by the mechanism.. no problems with ours :-)
