A lot of the Rubies brand fancy dress costumes are selling for next to nothing. They are add on items so subject to a minimum £20 spend but nice cheap fillers if you have young kids.

I was thinking of Claudia Winkelman's daughter, who was wearing a cheap Halloween outfit and got severe life changing burns from that.
These outfits really ought not to be sold unless treated with fire retardant, but that was not mentioned in the Amazon description.

The trouble with these very cheap costumes is that they are made of such thin material, which is more flammable than thicker material. (Like it's easier to set fire to a single sheet of paper than a book.)
Also, some material doesn't catch fire at all easily, eg wool.
