You should point out that this QVC version has a nice diamanté detail, and a couple of crystal dolphins leaping through a wave on each ear. They catch the light beautifully.

Was going for one but read the reviews about them tending to go straight after the warranty period is up.

Mine went after 18 months. I managed to get a replacement. I now only use them on flights.

Mine went before warrenty, left ear cup stopped working, it's all down to how they fold into the case that over time pulls and degrades the internal cabling. Simple fix was to buy a cheap £5 case off Amazon that holds them in the normal shape without folding them into the compact shape.
My first pair failed just outside the Bose 12 month warranty period. Luckily, Britain is in the EU so they were covered by EU consumer protection regulations for at least 24 months & Bose replaced them without any problem. 2nd pair doing in fine after 6 months, but I do use them sparingly on longer weekend commutes only. Last time I looked at the Amazon reviews a number of reviewers were complaining of the same issue (failed sound in one cup). Bose agents were responding in the review section advising purchasers to contact them for replacements even outside warranty. It is annoying if they fail, but Bose customer service / support seems to be very good.

If there is a inherent fault with a product, then I'm pretty sure they would have to fix that problem. Whether it's in warranty or not. You just have to prove the product has a problem. Shouldn't be to hard with threads like this on the internet. That is probably why they sorted yours out. I have a set of QC35 and will certainly be complaining if this problem happens. I'm glad I read this thread now.

I did read a thread at the time suggesting a known fault with certain (early?) batches of qc25s. The guy on the phone at Bose didn't specifically confirm this but immediately offered to replace the faulty pair. Replacements arrived within a week. I assume there was a manufacturing issue that was resolved on later batches. Can't really fault their customer service.

Mine stopped working just before 2yr warranty expired. I was lucky, but I guess new ones might go off shortly too. Great product, poor manufacturing.

Wow, thanks morrig. Heat from me. I missed out on the previous posting by 10 minutes; But I registered at that time and was left cussing. But it's an ill wind. ..... Since registering 8 or 9 days ago, QVC snail mailed me a £10. off first purchase promotional code. I have just used it in my order. WP17833 as a promotional code, not a voucher, Not sure if anyone else can use it. Code expires 24/09/2017. Txs again morrig. :raised_hand:

Box only lets you put 6 digits in so can't put the full code. Didn't work as was.

There were ,as I remember, 2 fields stacked vertically: One for Promotional codes and another for vouchers numbers. Suggest you try both. If you search here for QVC codes (old) you can see that WP17833 is a previously used code style or format. Were you not signed in maybe?

I did try both but had no luck. No matter  Am on a waitlist so probably not get them anyway.
