Amazon Deal of the Day - normally around £50 and at this price you'd normally get a cheap unbranded smaller version - Bosch AHM 38 G Cylinder Lawnmower for a clean, precise cut - suitable for small lawn areas. The horizontally mounted cylinder of blades cut against a fixed bottom blade for a scissor-like cut. This gives a finish to your lawn as they cut the grass cleanly without ripping it. Due to high geared side wheels its easy to push. It also gives complete freedom to use the lawnmower anywhere freely. With the rear roller you can gain stripes over your lawn and importantly it offers stability up to lawn edges.
If you have a fairly flat lawn these are great, low noise and nicer noise, no cables to unravel, no petrol to start - just out of the shed and mowing.

Might be a good price but get yourself a electric one and save your energy, guy in our street has one he prefers these but even though he looks after himself every time I see him cutting the grass I wish he would just buy an electric one.

I had an electric one, right faff, got one of these and couldn't be happier mowing the lawn. It's so easy cutting the grass with one of these and it's very rewarding providing the power.

Definitely agree. We bought a Webb manual mower recently, and it's a pleasure to mow the lawn. Easy to push, cuts really well and SO quiet. No electric or petrol required. So cheaper in the long run. Have now sold our Mountfield!

You seem to miss the point that this is ideal for the smaller garden. No cables to trail round etc etc. I had a Qualcast Panther cylinder mower that lasted many many years.
The deal gets heat from me.

For this price you could (as I did) pick up a vintage one on eBay, which will give a much nicer cut.
Damn thing is twice as old as I am, and it still works beautifully

I have the Qualcast Rhino from argos that was this price afew weeks back. Does the job perfectly once you get the correct technique and adjust the blade tightness so that it cleanly cuts a piece of paper all the way along the blade equally. Obviously if you have a massive or very hilly garden then it aint suitable. Hot for Bosch (even if it is just a rebranded generic, they will be more likely to use higher quality components, paint and build quality as the big chinese firm will want to keep the manufacturing contract from Bosch.

It's a surprisingly good mower and is better than many electric budget models.
The only problem with it is that when you need to adjust it, as you will, it is very challenging to get it to cut as close and as well as it does out of the box.
On balance, it's a great investment especially for somebody who doesn't want the hassle of an electric or petrol mower

Bought a B @ Q branded one a few years ago ,what a load of pap.A devil to cut cleanly, although slightly handy at diy, could not get it to work well. But a quality brand like qualcast or Bosch should be ok. Saying that love our Flymo 330,added an extra made spacer and cuts really low now.
