Put it up correctly, it won't leak. This new version has a much better porch - the groundsheet is better fitted to stop water coming in from underneath. The roof ventilation is better designed to stop water entering too.

I always question reviews where they say it has leaked, as you state, generally poor construction.

Just got this tent 20% extra off in store, easy to put up and cosy. Rained a little but was dry inside.
