The AA Dual Credit Card offers the longest-ever 0% spending period, though you could be accepted and offered fewer 0% months, which won't make it as good a deal.
Dual Credit Card
Get 0% on both balance transfers and purchases with our Dual Credit Card.
CARD OFFER:
0% for either 32 or 24 months on purchases from account opening, depending on individual circumstances.
No annual fee
PLUS:
0% for up to 16 or 14 months when a balance transfer is made in the first 3 months, depending on individual circumstance. A 2.89% balance transfer fee applies.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Your personal APR and introductory offer duration will be based on your individual circumstances.
A balance transfer fee of 2.89% will be applied, which will increase the amount you owe.
Pay on time each month and stay within your credit limit to keep your promotional rates.
When the promotional offer ends, any outstanding amount will be charged interest at your standard variable rate.
Great deal to use for a few big purchases say you spend £2000 on wachine machine, fridge oven etc... Over 32 months you could pay £62.50 a month and pay no interest even if i had the cash i'd do it this way and get section 75 protection. Also you'd get £32 TCB so better than cash but make sure it tracks properly

the Assumed credit limit: £1,200 is that likely to be higher if your credit is good
have a rbs cc that I need to change for a 0% limit that is £1600

Hmm. Is this card for a specific type of people? For some reason, I just got rejected without a second thought. My credit score is excellent with all payments on time and I just got approved for a Barclaycard too with a 10k limit

Maybe thats why as you'd be over streaching yourself

Don't think that's the case. Have 3 credit cards with combine credit limit of £32,000 with salary of £21,000

In that case you could be regarded as a low earner as your salary is below the national average.

I'm not to clued up on how these work, is it a buy now pay later, like 12 months down the line or do you have to pay so much back each month. Sorry credit noob here.

12 months interest credit mean if Buy something for £1000 you have 12 months in which to pay the back before being charged interest. This could be 1000 ÷ 12 = 83.33 per month or you could just pay 1000 on the12 month. Or 100 x 10 = 1000. As long as you pay pay the money before the end 12 month you won't be charged interest.

So there isn't a minimum I have to pay each month? It's up to me when I pay it back as long as it's in the allotted time. Eg I could spend on it and not pay anything for 12 month etc?

that's correct. But be carefully credit cards are designed to offer you "easy money" they want you go over the interest free credit period, so they can charge you high interest rates.

Any monthly minimum payment will be rounded up to the nearest pound (£) and will be the greatest of:
• 2.5% of the outstanding balance on your statement (minimum £5) OR
• The full balance (if less than £5) OR
• 1% of the outstanding balance plus interest, plus fees, plus any insurance premium

I'm thinking of applying for this card but in 2 minds whether to go for this, or go for the MBNA at 30 month 0% purchases?
It says I've been given a 9/10 chance of getting it - I was wondering how many people have been given the 32 month 0% purchase, because I really don't want the 24 month 0% purchase option.
MBNA says I've been pre-approved - Decisions decisions!
Has anyone got this card set up for ApplePay?

I was pre approved for mbna went for m&s 95% chance for the £50 voucher got rejected outright! Then went for the mbna thinking thats it my chances are shot! But got that with a £7400 but promptly reduced to £5000. Much higher than sainsburys.
The sainsburys will be paid in two months and closed. Up to you! do you want to risk your chances or take what probably is a good credit limit and you will get the two and half years 0%. If you go for this i'd apply to mbna instantly if you get rejected as it cant show up on your credit file instantly. But i wouldn't be gready and just get the mbna. Mines paying for a heating system and i'm just happy its zero percent tbh with the full 20 months
up to you what you do

Wow! That's a bit of a kick in the nuts - I've seen a fare few reviews on this card & seems to be a selected few that get it. I've got a really good credit rating & don't want to risk damaging it on a whim. As you said, why get greedy over a couple of extra month 0%.
Thanks! I'll take your advice & apply for the MBNA end of next week - It should arrive in time for my 2 weeks off work on the 10th :raised_hand:

No problem and i meant the 30 months. Let me know how it goes? The customer service has been good and you can check your balance, payment and statement with sms which is really usefull. Happy so far with it all so if pre approved then why risk it

good luck trying to balance transfer to another card if you don't pay this off by the end of the interest free period - RBI customer service was truly shocking when I had one! NEVER AGAIN
