Cheapest not-from-concentrate
smoothie I’ve come across. Relatively new addition to Lidl (their old smoothie was a bit rubbish, and cost more)
Very little difference between this
and innocent smoothies.
Also, this is just their standard price - but is so much cheaper than the overpriced alternatives I thought this might be worth a post.
Definitely worth a try if smoothie is your thing. If not, your in the wrong place

Fruit juice and fruit puree. It's not the proper stuff.
That's nothing. The Fanta you posted earlyer has 30g/250ml

Isn't that what you would expect? Fruit and fruit juice tend to be sweet. Obviously some fruit is sweeter than others but these smoothies always tend to use lots of apples or grapes for the sweetness. A quick look finds these: Tesco Strawberry And Banana Smoothie tesco.com/gro…499 15.3g per 150ml (25.5g per 250ml) Tesco Mango And Passion Fruit Smoothie tesco.com/gro…476 17.7g per 150ml (29.5g per 250ml) Innocent Super Smoothie Energise mysupermarket.co.uk/tes…tml 10.0g per 100ml (25.0g per 250ml) Innocent Super Smoothie Invigorate mysupermarket.co.uk/tes…tml 11.0g per 100ml (27.5g per 250ml) Sainsbury's Strawberry & Banana Smoothie mysupermarket.co.uk/sai…tml 10.9g per 100ml (27.25g per 250ml) Tropicana Boost Forest Fruit Juice Smoothie tesco.com/gro…524 12g per 100ml (30g per 250ml)
Basically, all smoothies are very sweet even though all of them do not contain any added sugar. But unless you eat green fruit, smoothies and ripe fruit should be equally sweet.

Nothing more than a sugary drink. If you want to eat lots of fruit, eat lots of real fruit.
The "5 a day" advice is simply what the government believe the UK public will tolerate. Fruit is included in that because most people would baulk at the idea of eating 5 portions of vegetables a day. In fact to stay healthy you should be consuming between 5 and 10 vegetables per day, with fruit being a snack or treat and not counting towards that total.

Yup, I bought this at the weekend and it tasted surprisingly good. Nothing wrong in my opinion.

Tastes good but not a smooth considering its a smoothie, full of pulp...
