How does this work If I wanted to get Sonic Mania for example? Would I change the Location to US & Then back again basically once I have got Sonic? Or create a Whole new seperate account on the Switch?

Be careful with changing your account region then adding credit, as if you don't use all the credit you won't be able to change region again without contacting Nintendo :face_with_monocle: *Turns out this isn't true, you can change and you just loose the credit. Thanks nunberry

When you change region and have an existing balance you just get a pop up asking you to accept that you will lose that balance. (I've only tested with an existing euro balance)

I heard that's what used to happen then they changed it so you can't change region if you have balance

Just create a separate account on the switch and set location as USA. Prices are about 10 to 15 percent cheaper on average than uk.,and if you save up to cheap credit deals you can save maybe 40% all together.

@marky264 It's definitely worth getting these codes for later purchases but in terms of Sonic Mania, it'd be cheaper to get it through the Russian eshop. There's a really hot deal on this website about it right now.
With this method, it'd cost around £11 but the russian eshop will be £9.

Just make numerous accounts for each country you plan to use. I have US, UK and Japan accounts on my Switch

In terms of the News Feed on the Switch is there anyway to make it default to the UK one as My News Feed features US Content now.. I'm guessing it's the same If I were to make a Japanese Account I would get Japanese News Feed regardless of what store I mainly use.

Guys I stupidly put in a New York ZIP Code in the Location Settings after I added My eShop Credit to the Account $20.00 Worth. Now when I'm trying to check out Sonic Mania for $19.99 It's asking me for $21.74?...
