Nice little offer that just went live over at BT, think it's pretty decent esp with the reward card.
Used BT previously and had no issues
You can get their Unlimited Infinity 1 Broadband package, which includes Line rental and Weekend calls, for £29.99PM with half price activation* and a £80 pre paid mastercard reward!
£29.99 *12 = £359.88 + £34.99 upfront = £394.87 + £80 card on top so works out at nearly £310 over the term
You'll also get access to 100GB of Cloud Storage, plus access to their free WiFi network of over 5 million WiFi hotspots. You can also add free BT Sport for 3 months (£7pm thereafter)
*Half price activation runs until 20th July, includes router delivery charge.

Recently switched to BT from Plusnet.
In a word NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS DON'T DO IT!
They:
1) Somehow managed to disconnect me from the Internet a full 3 weeks before the service transfered (so no interwebs for 3 weeks).
2) Then failed to dispatch the router I'd paid for.
3) Because of the original error, the £200 cashback card I was supposed to qualify for was rejected (they said it wasn't a Web order as it had to be reprocessed over the phone). No Quidco as a result either.
4) Sent me a bill for £166 in my 2nd month (as a result of me having to chase them up multiple times to send me the router I'd paid for upfront but continually didn't receive). It should have been £28.99.
5) Eventually rectified the above, but point blank refused to compensate me for any of this.
Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever.
So if you're wondering why a lot of folks slate them...

Do check T's and C's, sometimes the pre-paid card is ineligible if you go down the Quidco route.

As people are more likely to post on here if they had an issue with BT, I'll just say that I've been with BT for about 4 years, haggling at every contract end, and I've never had any issues with their service or pricing. Currently on Infinity 2 Unlimited for £35/month, was only £25/month for the last 12 months

Same experience here. Can't really fault them and their deals are pretty unbeatable at the moment. I took them up on an early upgrade offer of Infinity 2, weekend calls, BT TV and BT Sport for 32 quid a month. Regularly get 70mb download and 20mb upload on speedtest as well with no downtime.

BT are fine until something goes wrong, then its the usual Vodafone/o2/Three standard of substandard. I cancelled and returned a sim with a BT Broadband/line package and it took 11 months to be refunded after every month still charged - eventually after many India complaints it was sorted & refunded via Ofcom. Shocking care, you can't even call it care, if their staff worked in social/care at any point I would be worried.

I received £125 reward card and £150 TCB (paid) from them a few month ago. So it should work.

Didn't work for me using Topcashback , My TCB tracked perfectly before they decided to decline my cashback without any explanation whatsoever ... ended up lodging a claim , that was in February and still not been resolved.
Be Warned , cashback is NOT guaranteed and should be treated as a bonus if it pays out. Don't do what I did and work out the equivalent cost per month factoring in all the cashback , lol

I've also got BT Sport and I've had the BT TV Starter Pack free for 2 years now. Also never had any downtime, and my down speed is consistently 70+ Mb

That's why BT Openpeach is being hived away from BT Group, BT staff make it up as they go along then there is the India complaints 'service' - its shambles when EE mobile BT subsidiary improved under BT whilst the rest of BT Group companies get worse and worse year on year on decade.

Better deal last month,£28.99 a month and £60 activation.,but you got a £200 mastercard and £80 quidco
So total price was £407-£280=127 devided by 12 =£10-58 a month
so a poor deal really cold from me

You've got to play the system. I didn't get my pre-paid card so had a moan on their forums. Upshot? Paddy (moderator) sorted it out immediately, I got the pre-paid card in a few days and he even phoned me to see if everything had been sorted out.

If you manage to get your BT Reward Card within 30 days without having to chase up or complain, then you're one of the lucky ones. Two months since I registered and I'm still waiting. If BT try and persuade me to stay with when my contract comes up for renewal I shall waste no time in reminding them of this!

Sorry, due to BT's policy of upping pricing whenever they feel like it, you can't quote the full term price with any certainty. In fact the only certainty round that price, is that it will cost more.

just had a lot of hassle with BT - despite being on infinity 1 they put me on the wrong package & nobody could understand my explanation.
They wanted to charge for an openreach engineer which I refused. In the end they sent one for free.
He said I was on X package & I said nope, Im on Infinity 1. Confirming exactly what I already new. Basically wasted 6 hours of me on the phone & an openreach engineer. They have now offered to renew my contract for their error at £24 a month for line rental & broadband

Little heads up it takes months to get the BT reward card, i got my BT installed middle of May and still no BT reward card, ive chased it 3 times and only been told it will be here within 45 days...
I got a BT sim too and £60 amazon card, still havent got that either.
BT customer service is horrible, if youre about to renew just go with Virgin if you can.

I've filled the claim form online and said dispatched 20th June and still nothing. It says you get an email with an activation code too but havent got that yet so they cannot blame the postal service. I've emailed them but looks like I will have to go down the forum complaints route or ASA advertising standards agent. When I did the sky friend referral I got the card within 14 day's.

I bought in for under £10/month what could go wrong but it is Soooo SLOW, my old Sky 13Gb was better than this but I guess for the price it will have to do for a year. Might consider getting a second line now or maybe a router upgrade will do it.
