Owed one for the past few years very happy with it and great battery life just gutted its not getting the android wear update
I have one of these (Actually used it in my Uni dissertation). Really like it. Unfortunately it does not support Android wear 2.0, but i didn't find this a major issue. Being able to send messages etc via voice is cool.
Also if your willing you can root these and there is even a different OS out there that can be used on it.

I've ordered a tom tom spark music (for the gps) but is this better? What's the battery life like?

When using Music and GPS it's about 90 Minutes. Regular use, like notifications, OK Google etc then it's around 2 days, it only takes about 30 minutes to fully charge.

I have this watch but the gps doesn't work. I went for a 12km run and it only tracked the last 1km. Is this common?

You have to make sure you have a good lock before you start. Even then though, if it's a little too cloudy it might struggle.

Thanks for that. Decisions decisions... I see this will work with google fit, the spark doesn't and it's about £20 or so less. Think I'll wait a bit. Ideally I'd like the Huawei Watch ro replace the one I cracked.

***AVOID***
If you're planning on using this for a sports watch/gps tracking avoid it like the plague. GPS does not work when the device is in contact with moisture (sweat, rain etc). Many posts on the internet about it. Far better with a garmin or tomtom if that;s your desired use for this piece of poo. it doesn't come with a native GPS tracker built in neither so you'd need to find one you like, but it would be a waste of time. A fix is to wear a sweatband under the watch but this only helps against sweat not rain.
As a smart watch it's not bad, does as you would expect. No HR though. I preferred the LG G Watch R but I've sold both on as I find wear pretty poor at the moment.

These are dire. Save your money for something less useless.
