This stuff is onions and fish fermented for years in a wooden barrel. I find it hysterical that once sealed in a sterilised jar it has a best before date....

Completely agree. Common sense says best before dates should be scrapped (at least for tinned, bottled and jarred goods), however once they go deals like this will be non existent.
Keep best before dates!

It has been pasteurised before bottling hence the best before date, no rocket science here. See the video in post #7.
How on earth do you use this stuff quickly ?
Costco do two large bottles for a couple of quid.
Bought mine probably 3 years ago and still yet to open the second bottle.
