I feel your pain on the idiots when selling a car. Last week I was selling my brand new Ford Focus Rs and got offered 6 and 7k less than the asking prices from 4 people lol. Ended up selling to a garage as I got sick of people.

What do you expect, if your selling a new focus rs I presume you are hoping to make a quick buck due to short supply. Ford should make it a requirement that you have to keep a rs for a year so the short supply go to genuine owners who want to keep and use not buy to speculate.

Short supply lol. There's absolute loads for sale, cancelled orders can be had all over at dealers and if you want your own build 2 weeks wait. And making a profit! Trust me nobodys making a profit on these cars, yes when they first came out but people probably did as they were in demand due to waiting list, but they've been out over a year now. I sold mine due to starting my own detailing business, and the price I had it up for was the cheapest in the UK for spec and optional extras. A dealer gave me £1000 less than I wanted in the end.

Yeah mate that'll be mine lol, I didn't have any interest what so ever through the Forums, the car forums aren't what they used to be! Facebook has killed it. But the sale to W.Ferguson was smooth. I'm really tempted on a nice e92 to keep me going for another 6-12 months until I'm on my feet again. Starting a business isn't so kind on your wallet haha

Selling an expensive car privately is now nigh on impossible... Lease my car now far less hassle and I give the keys back to them after 2 years and pick up the keys of my new one.

I was pretty gutted when I sold mine, garage gave me £30,500 but where the garage was in Carlisle there was no reception on my phone, when I left an e-mail came through from a local lad offerinf me £31,400 I felt physical sick lol. But the deal was done and its old news now. I change my cars to often to be stuck in lease deals. I was tempted on the Golf R deal but thought about it. I think next I'll go for a Bmw m4. Just annoys me selling cars with people offering me silly low ball prices when I always sell cheap anyways.
