Cheapest toner set is around 135 ish. Seems steep to me... Is it worth it you guys reckon. Laser printers aren't my thing so would happily accept advice .

Depends what you use it for. We've just got rid of our Samsung laser printer and gone back to a decent 'normal' printer. Inks were expensive, for home use it was overkill and the print quality wasn't great. Never has a Ricoh printer so can't comment on print quality.

This was £49 on ebuyer yesterday, cheapest toner I found was £119 a set of compatibles.

It's got a decent dpi and sufficient memory. So it's ok.

You need to include the toner waste cartridge, so about £170

Been running one of these for the past 18 months and have no issue whatsoever with it. Had an Oki before it, damn site bigger, far noisier and got rid as soon as toners ran out, because it was notorious for chewing paper up in the fuser. Had it about 12 months and Engineers came out to it 3 times. My c250DN has been faultless though, bought some refurb toners about 6 months ago and not an issue. If you want or need a colour Laser, then for the price it's as good as you're gonna get in my opinion.

I have the older version but it will not print anything on pdf. Only prints documents on Microsoft word or Abode. Everything i need to print, i have to copy and paste which is insulting.
Any help? I have received a replacement printer but same issue

That sounds like a driver issue and Adobe Documents are generally PDF format. I assume you're running a Windows OS, so uninstall the current driver and replace it with the latest one for your OS from the Ricoh website. If you're runnin Linux, there is a driver for it that works fine, I'd have to dig out the name of it for you.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I have installed the drivers from the internet and laptop is a Dell running on windows 10. I have noticed the CD is useless, seems faulty or something because it didn't work on my other Dell laptop but i have 2 copies. Any help would be a huge relief because I have spent 20 hours altogether sorting it out really. I have a set of new toners from the replacement too . I was thinking of paying a computer expert so any help would be appreciated.

They were £120 delivered for a full set from Cartridge Save. Off top of my head that was for 1800 page capacity Colour and 7000 page Black. Not the cheapest, but a set tends to last me a good 12 months and the toner doesn't dry up like Inket cartridges, so worth it.
Oh and as for the waste Toner, if it's going to be £170 for a replacement, I'd just buy another printer and the same goes for the Fuserkit or Transfer Belt, no brainer in my opinion.
