Not sure why but GAMEs offer for the psn code is slightly cheaper than the offer currently on the store. Hope it helps someone to out.

Has anybody played this? Anything likely to persuade me to play again, having completed it on GameCube?

Its still a great game and worth a play through again however the controls can feel quite clunky to start off with

Shame it's not the HD version they released on 360/ps3

It's arguably more HD than the 360/PS3 version as that was a 720p remaster, whereas when the PS4 emulates PS2 games it renders them natively at 1292x896 then upscales to whatever your display is set to. The downside of the PS4 version is it's limited to the original 4 :innocent: aspect ratio (which I personally don't mind but I know people will complain about) but I've been comparing the two versions on YouTube and they both look great but if anything it might look better on the PS4 - it doesn't have the remastered textures and lighting of the 360/PS3 version but it is a lot sharper. At the end of the day it's a 17 year old game and it's just nice to be able to play it on modern consoles so just get it on whichever console yuo want to play it on.

Buy the PS3 version of this game instead, it's cheaper now, on sale, and way better than this lazy upscaled garbage mess, it runs badly and not widescreen. The PS3 version looks and plays much better.

Why didn't they just port the ps3 HD version over instead of the ps2 one?

Probably too much work involved in porting a PS3 game over and the cost would be a hell of a lot more. Think it's a joke releasing a game that looks worse than the last generation version. I'm all for PS2 emulation for games that stayed on that platform till now but this simply didn't need it with the so much better PS3 version available.
