I bought one, plus a similar Tesco tent, and after testing them out indoors I've decided to keep the Tesco tent instead, which is OOS online, but selling for £15 in store (At least in Aberdeen Extra).
The Regatta is great value for a double skin tent. The outer is 2000HH, vs the Tesco's 1600HH- the coating felt noticeably thicker, and it's about 250g lighter. However the disadvantages were:
- the zips were sticky. The inner one had a slight flaw in it. The outer zip was a struggle to open/close, perhaps because of the amount of velcro on the outer flap.
- the fibreglass poles are thinner. You'd need to be very careful with them.
- the porch is very small. Just about enough for a pair of shoes.
The Tesco tent has some quality issues too though: some iffy stitching, and slightly wobbly seam tape in a couple of places. I'd check it carefully before you go camping with it for the first time.
Opening post
But comes with a Flysheet
2000mm HH
Seems OK for the price
