£150 saving over regular price just before Prime Day started.
4K has four times the resolution but at this size until you sit extremely close you wouldn't be able to see the difference

But only when 4K material is unputted. For normal HD - 1080i or 720p this will upscale better than a 4K set. So the question is how much 4K programmes are you watching/ will be watching?

Actually 720p scales better on a 4K TV set because it it is exactly three times 720p in both directions and 1080i/p is exactly double in both directions on 4K so scales equally well for that.

Sorry this is incorrect. I have a 49" 1080p bravia from a year back, and I got my dad to grab the 4k model bravia in the same size for just a bit more when he was looking -- suffice to say the 4k TV blows mine away with any 4k content. Especially for gaming etc where the content is more prevalent the difference is massive and you certainly don't need to be sat up close to tell.

I have a 50" Samsung 4K TV and a PS4 Pro. I don't see a massive difference like there was between standard definition and high definition. I do see a massive difference between BT Sport at HD and 4K, the 4K is stunning but BT Sport at HD seems particularly poor. With Netflix I can't tell if it is HD or 4K.
