After seeing the post earlier for the pioneer VSX531, someone pointed out that you can get it at this price from RicherSounds. I popped in there today to pick one up and also used the £25 off a set of speakers that they have running. The Wharfedale 9.0 speakers are currently discounted by them from £59 to £39.... less the £25 off the buying them at the same time as the receiver and you get the speakers for roughly £15. It's a bargain of a combination and I've just finished getting mine setup.

£25 off speakers over £150 with an amp purchase of over £200.
I think you got lucky, the staff did not read the voucher correctly!

If that's the case then yep I got lucky. I phoned them before I went to confirm the price and they did. No arguments or questions when i got there either.. Actually, that cant be right. The amp online is £149 and shows the offer. So it cant be on amps over £200. Anyway, i had no questions at all from the staff in Maidstone.

brilliant OP - out of interest did you buy 4 of the Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 and then will use a seprate centre speaker?
I am interested how you've got it set up and what it sounds like when you're finished

I previously bought two Monitor Audio MR1 speakers during the Amazon Prime day. I have these setup as my front left and right speakers. The new Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 are my rear left and right speakers. I happened to have an older JVC speaker that I'm using as my center channel speaker for now. I'm keeping an eye open for a good deal on a subwoofer to along with this.
As for how it sounds. I'm shocked. I have a £400 sony setup in my main room. It's all in built so sub and amp are all in one piece and the speakers are your typical small surround sound speakers. This new setup I have is so so much better. Surround sound is wide and clear. So the bass on the speakers along is decent too. The only real reason for me wanting a sub is just to complete the setup (rather than thinking that something is outstanding). I highly recommend this setup, especially for the money.

There is no voucher. Just go into the store and buy the amp. Tell them that on the site you saw that there is a deal to get £25 off a set of speakers when bought at the same time as the amp. They'll agree and allow you get the Wharfedale 9.0 speakers for roughly £15.
