Seriously? People use a switch to turn on electric lightbulbs? I just use an oil lamp, a wick and matches. #firstworldproblems ;-)

Seriously? People waste £27 on two light bulbs because they are too lazy to get up and flick a switch? #firstworldproblems

Was tempted but need the bridge for these so it's a no go for me ATM.

You can easily get a kit with a bridge, the are frequent deals on them. Or just get a bridge on ebay, lots of offers. (have 2 spare ones myself)

I've been waiting for a deal on these, as they are normally prohibitively expensive. I needed 4 lots and have got friends and family to order 1 lot each delivered to me

I know, when I'm visiting family 160miles away. I love nipping home to put the light son at home to pretend I'm in.
Also when I wire in my dimmer switch and additional cabling to dim the lights over the TV that is just time I love to waste.

Another adult at the same address as me has just created an account specifically to order these bulbs (I had ordered them this morning as well). He has just had his order cancelled and he was told it was strictly one per customer and the use of multiple accounts to get round this was not allowed!
Same surname, same address, different person, different email, different payment card.

£27.50 for 2 bulbs, £45 for the bridge, and then whatever tech/smart device on top to control it from outside the house...
And presumably you want these bulbs all around the house, which makes it a bit expensive.
Don't see why to be honest, but that's just me.

Perfect Fit.....does that mean they fit normal a GU10 housing?

I only bought my first Hue bulb last week and it's already turned out to be an addiction. I've jumped on this from previous comments that GU10s are never usually on offer
