I always have a soft spot when this goes on sale (Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer, too). It's down from £4.69 and is just fantastic.
To put it down in comparison...RollerCoaster Tycoon World is £2.99. See the deal?
Think you can design and build the greatest amusement park in the world? You select the site, you layout the rides. In fact, you control every aspect of running a profitable amusement park; from hiring employees, to developing new rides, to maintaining an adequate supply of soft drinks. Any mistakes, and the bustling hordes of fun-seekers will let you know. Oh, and that Merry-Go-Round in flames is a clue too.
Select from dozens of rides and attractions.
Experience fireworks, weather effects, and more!
Keep your employees happy, or be forced into some real-time deal making.
Visit the Bank Manager to keep an eye on your cash flow.
Check the park status screen to see what your visitors are thinking. You'd better build a burger stand, the little peeps are getting hungry!
If you can value your time at 60p per hour, you really should grab this classic.

Oh man, I can still remember the excitement of buying the CD-ROM version of this - still have it too:
I do remember handymen and mechanics always getting stuck in the middle of nowhere though :disappointed: Of course, by the time I'd noticed, half my rides were bust and there was a vomit epidemic.

this game stole many years of my childhood, brilliant game but the theme music and sound effects were so repetitive they still give me headaches lol

I got a similar crash screen a few minutes after starting the game. :disappointed: Right clicked it and chose Windows 7 in compatibility mode and now seems okay, but only tried it for a few minutes.

I had not heard of Gog.com, delighted to see so many classic games on there (even Populous) so will give some of them a go.

Putting a drinks stall next to a fries stall.
Put loads of ice into the drinks and loads of salt on the fries, maximise profits!
Putting too much fat into the burgers next to a thrill ride tended to result in lots of vom though..

Might be worth playing around with resolution, if i max res on Quake the menu is so tiny so you have to just find the res that has everything a suitable size for you. For crashes and that (this worked on windows 7 before) if u go into the game properties (right click icon - properties - compatibility) you can "run as windows xp" something like that and it should run much smoother, i used to this alot but never really have the issue anymore (windows 10 64bit)

It must be even more of a kick in the teeth to see that even the prices up to £19.99 didn't even receive the reception you did mate :disappointed: If it's any consolation, you got heat from me

i have had nothing but trouble trying to play older games on my PC , AOE the writing was tiny and considering i was sat on couch with wireless keyboard made it unplayable and other old titles seem to like to change all my desktop icons , random crashes etc etc
anyone confirm this runs smooth ?

I didn't notice any noticeable issues when I played it. I played it on a Mac, though. If you're gonna see issues when gaming, it's going to be on a Mac
