Not flight related but Tokyo is a truly amazing city. I would recommended anyone visit there! Train to Kyoto takes no time for a day trip or overnight.

I think you could say that about quite a few places not just Edreams. The likes of Opodo, Budgetair, Cheapo Flights, Travel Up. That said I've had sub £200 flights to Tokyo honoured, UK to Hawaii for just over £300, Open Jaw Peru and sub £150 return to NY, all booked with those I've mentioned above and had no problems. Granted there have been some error and glitch fares which haven't been honoured but you take your chances. People moan when things go wrong but never say good things when they go well. I'd book with Edreams or any other OTA.

A flight from Tokyo to London is usually 12-13 hours...I wonder why these are so long?

You will need to wait on the plane in Moscow I believe

Aeroflot are a Russian airline, not sure you would have to stop in Moscow as these are direct flights. Never flown with Aeroflot but they frequently have good deals.

These flights do have a stopover at SVO prior to continuing onto NRT. Usually on a A321 or A330

Ah I see, I could only see the direct didn't realise they stopped. No issue with that though, still saving on UK prices.

flew Aeroflot back in the 70's terrible airline, but i would think things have improved since then. Do you need a transit visa

No, as long as you're there for less than 24 hours. There's little to do in the transit area though and prepare to be massively fleeced in the airport. I bought a piece of apple pie and a coffee from the Costa there and it came to around £11.

Still cheaper than some places at ARN (Arlanda, Stockholm, Sweden) where some places were charging up to €15 for a slice of cake.
