Description is a bit out of date. Snap was removed.

There was a thread on here that someone managed to get a load of cash back from microsoft for removing snap.

Can I use with me Xbox 360 and watch Tv while playing without aerial

Its for the Xbox One, not the Xbox 360. And it needs an aerial. So no, no and no I'm afraid.

Thanks OP, it's £5.74 direct from Amazon which is what I chose, at that price it's worth a try. Heat from me.
For anyone that uses it, is it worth getting the media remote, or does the normal controller suffice? Thank you.

Even better, that option wasn't available at the time that I could see as I did look and always prefer Amazon direct.

Definitely recommend the official media remote for use with this. For me it makes the over all feel that much better. I use both a lot, and worth noting the "trending now" on TV programmes is a nice to have

Hey! I love the media remote. It's quite basic and probably overpriced but it's so much easier to use than the Xbox one controller

Does this only work with a standard aerial or could I use my Sky dish (just to get Freeview or FreeSat, not a Sky package) instead?

Yes, only with aerial- the feed from your dish will have screw on connector, as well as different decoding of the signal etc.

Correct. Satellite and terrestrial TVs use different standards to broadcast the signals.

I had one when I still had an xbone
worked well - no need for extra remote, as I just used the controller
now that I sold the xbone I still have the tv tuner but it's pretty well useless because it doesn't work on pc, and nobody seems to want to buy it

Is it like HDMI pass through in that you need a live gold subscription to use it?

Eh? You don't need gold subscription to use HDMI pass through!!! And you don't need it to use this.
Unfortunately the planned feature to allow you to record TV shows was cancelled. I bought one when they announced that feature was coming and would have made this a lot more useful.
