It's 2gb RAM for this one. Which kind of takes a lot from the deal.

Got a bit excited when I saw this as have been waiting for a price drop but unfortunately this model is actually £249.99. The one at £219.99 is for the 2gb RAM / 32gb storage HDD etc.

Don't know why this has been expired, it's still a valid deal.

manufactures really need to start making 4GB the min nowadays, 2GB really does not cut it anymore :disappointed: and dont get me started with 32GB lol my phone has more its 2017 not 2007

I don't think it's as important for a Chromebook and it's an obvious up-sell for the manufacturer. These are good and fast devices but it seems a bit overpriced, maybe I'm just out of touch? I got a refurbished Acer CB3-431 for £100 the other day and that seems about right.

I agree on both counts, generally a Chromebook doesn't require as much RAM, but I don't think an extra 2GB should cost that much more to include

2gb ram may even struggle with a facebook feed these days as they tend to be stuffed full of autoplaying videos. It will certainly limit the number of tabs you can have open in chrome.
My Acer CB3-431 4gb is still slightly sluggish on content rich pages - well it was until the trackpad failed (common fault on this model it seems from googling)
