I completely fail to understand why these aren't free. Paying for this is as daft as buying the empty coffee jar so that you can pay again for the coffee in it.
A wise person once coined the term podiots.

Are cars free, because you have to fill them with fuel?

So a washing machine should be free as you have to buy detergent for it to work? Same goes for a kettle as you have to put water in for it to work. Bean to cup coffee machines; same story. We all buy lots of things that will not work without some other vital addition so by you're reckoning everyone is a fool.

Absobloodylutely, dishwashers, watching machines, kettles, cars should be completely free.

A reasonably decent tasting pod from Home Bargains has a net price of 10p hardly a 'podiot' for paying that.

10p? If you weren't a podidiot you could have had a nice cup of hot water and saved the 10p for your electricity bill....

I bought the krups one (cream)
Just had a look online and the only difference is the spout on the front  though I got some weird bespoke pod version.

The empty coffee jar is a metaphor for your brain - which needs to be constantly refilled with free information..you will still be none the wiser, so why bother?
