No. People shouldn't use the term 12PM because it's ambiguous.
PM means after midday. 12:00 isn't after midday.
AM means before midday.
So midnight is 12AM, and at the same time it's 12PM
Maybe they should start it at 12:01PM to avoid confusion. Or just say it starts at midday.
Or, even better, we just use the 24 hour clock and get rid of AM and PM completely.
