If you do nothing, your credit card will automatically be charged for another subscription year at the renewal rate then in effect. You may cancel by calling 0345 0450355 or by sending an email to [email protected] at any time during your subscription and receive a refund for the undelivered portion of your subscription. If your credit card account cannot be charged, we will bill you directly instead.

I guess it could be different from direct debit.
From previous DD subscription deal, the cheap price remains the same in the following years.
Just be aware of the letters/emails from National Geographic in a year time,
or set up a reminder to check.

OP, you should clarify that it is only for the magazine and not Nat Geo TV and its online content.
Pedantic, but slightly misleading unless clarified as NatGeo offer a lot more than just mag online.
