Thanks OP! But this doesn't half ram home how much we're getting squeezed in the supermarkets. Six months ago as you say this was £2 normally and £1 on offer. Now it's £2.49 and £1.24. The same kind of growth applies to just about everything I buy, and I've taken to opting out instead of paying the extra. RPI my ****.

I too have noticed this also, not on this particular product but on others, its like its just been decided across the board that the prices of some items should just be increased, and without justification, seems supermarkets just want to make more money than they already do?
Should a thread a be started on here" hikes in food prices we have noticed lately" ?
Or people could chip in on this thread with their findings ..........

This IS the best peanut butter you can buy imo, pure peanuts & nothing else added, not like the cheaper ones with palm oil & salt etc, will stock up today , great deal :sunglasses:
