Edited: thanks padair and melted - this is not a drill. It doesn't go round and round, just in and out...
Compared with Screwfix's cheapie it's £5 more (http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb698drh-4kg-sds-plus-demolition-breaker-230-240v/5237p) and claims to have almost three times the output. Also has 3 yr warranty compared with Screwfix's 2, for when it shakes itself to pieces, assuming that you don't first. From Thursday.

Me too now, I got the Parkside impact driver and reciprocating saw a little while back and they are great. Great value for money.

The Lidl one is a demolition hammer, it's used for breaking up concrete etc.
The Screwfix one is a hammer drill which can be used both as a breaker and a drill

This is not a drill, you should remove that from the title.
Gotta hire one of these for a weekend and it's going to cost about £50. May as well buy this and then sell it on.

If say shop around if you haven't (stupid suggestion considering what site we're both on!). My builders yard wanted the same, 100m down the road the hire place had bigger for half the price.

So what's the typical use for one of these? Could use smash up a concrete drive with one?

It's a bit light for that, much better hiring a concrete breaker for the day or weekend. link

It is a demolition hammer. probably better to compare apples with apples, nearest thing on screwfix is £65, but not as high impact:- http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb698drh-4kg-sds-plus-demolition-breaker-230-240v/5237p
