The Tab 4 8 is the first tablet to hide many tablets in one. It delivers a great multimedia experience in an amazing design hiding high-end specifications. It has you covered beyond what other slate tablets offer by helping you secure your data with multi-user and multi-space functionality. The Tab 4 8 reinvents the slate tablet, by becoming better with a choice of packs.
The Hudl2 is an 8" tablet that launched nearly three years ago, with 2GB of RAM and a 1920x1200 resolution. In 2015 it was available new for £99 from Tesco - same price as this tablet without the code.
We shouldn't be accepting technology as going backwards.

If only it was Full HD (is 1280x800).
Unfortunately tablet specs at this price appear to have stagnated. Such a shame Tesco stopped the Hudl range.

Totally agree. Screen tech for budget tablets has gone backwards.

The plus version for £209 at Tesco has a 1920 X 1200 screen as well as 3gb ram and an octa core processor. Shame it still only has 16gb but you can at least supplement with micro sd

Still considering it. If the plus had 32 GB I'd buy. I'm just thinking I maybe able to live with 2GB ram and Snapdragon 425 vs 3GB and Snapdragon 625 for £100+ saving.

I wouldn't mind 2gb or the 425
I wouldn't mind the 2gb or the sd425 - but since you'll be looking at the screen for 99% of the time, it's the low resolution that breaks the deal for me, sadly

Been keeping my eye on their release for a while. Decent price for a new product. Price is 130 quid in argos

Agreed. My folks have a 1200x800 7" tab, and that's bad enough for me. I'm so used to using high res, that this feels odd using.
