I had a I home digital clock radio and it was top quality fantastic sound quality so this looks a bargain

I think you mean pessimistic - this doesn't come with a dodgy salt cellar, ladder to walk under or black cat to cross your path.
However best not to buy one, second Friday in October..

You are right. I worked for a large testing lab, and Lithium Ion batteries do explode. One on test took out a concrete block wall when it went off.
