Turn your iPad or iPhone into an additional touch-screen display for your Mac or Windows computer or mirror your desktop. All usual desktop apps, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Photoshop, are available with desktop features on iPad and iPhone, touch-enabled. Works with both, Lightning and 30-pin cable connection or Wifi on macOS (with almost 0 latency).
Double your personal productivity by extending your computer screen. Perfect tool for multitaskers, iDisplay lets you use your iPad and iPhone as an interactive touch-screen wireless display to give you more screen real estate. Works with up to 60fps.

Looks interesting, thanks. Has mixed reviews. Seems to have been £2.99 in the past - not clear if this is a temp reduction. Needs companion app on PC or Mac. Might be worth a go.

I'm currently using Duet Display although as it costs £14.99 if this works it should get very hot.

I tested this out last night from my MBP to iPhone over Wifi. I was actually very impressed, no discernible lag and it will happily play back video on the iPhone from the Mac without any frame rate issues. I must stress I only tested this for a few minutes but it worked flawlessly during this time. It isn't as full featured as the likes of Duet Display Pro or AstroPad but for the basics it looks a great option. FYI, the Windows connection only works over Wifi, it won't work over USB.

I've used both and found duet display to be much better. Although this was some time ago and updates may have resolved the lag I experienced on iDisplay.

I would retest it as my only experience was yesterday with the current version and I had no lag over home Wifi. I didn't try USB as the Wifi performance was so good.

App requires iOS 8.0+. Can't use it on my aged iPad 1 with iOS 5.1.1. Pity.

Why has this expired? Just downloaded and seems free still?
