Here is a lovely little 2 night break to Berlin and the good flight times mean you'll arrive on the Saturday mid-morning and leave late in the evening on the Monday so you have plenty of time to explore.
The hotel is the Enjoy Hotel Berlin which is in a good location ideal for getting to and from the airport and exploring the city using public transport.
Cheap public transport into the city, just follow the crowd.

Voted hit but these deals never seem to work out well for lone travellers, always set as a couple to get the deal

That is true. I went to Berlin solo just a couple months ago. You may be able to find a hotel for 2 nights a bit cheaper. Don't worry if it's far out of the centre, as long as it's near a ubahn sbahn or tram station the public transport is very easy to use to get around. And you can keep spending to a minimum as there is so much to do for free and lots of street food as well as the usual fast food (McDonald's etc) available. Supermarket freshly made rolls with meat and salad filling only 2 euros for breakfast.
