You can 'Send a book' to a friend and they get a free copy (you keep your copy).
The first book you receive is free. Unlike most Audible offers this works for existing users as well as new ones. Just click on 'Send this book' from the book's menu and it gives you a URL to share. .
Why not share your favourite book in the comments below?.
For example here's best seller Thinking Slow and Fast for free! a.co/0tj…SW4
The movie adaptation directed by Spielberg will be out early next year. Better off waiting for the movie to come out IMO.
I personally prefer watching movie adaptations first before reading the source material.

All, you should be aware that by accepting / sharing a book you are disclosing your real full name (at least the name you registered with Amazon) to random people.
For example, the sender receives
Mike Smith accepted "Under the Dome" by Stephen King Send this book to more people in your life. Every recipient's first book is on us.
And the receiver sees at least the senders first name. This combined with comments can tie a user id to a full name.
Perhaps you don't care, and that's fine. Just be aware.

Just one book regardless, but you can share the love to as many as you want.
It's quite clever really. As the sender you (typically) have no idea if the receiver had already accepted a book. Instead of displaying an error to the receiver, Audible turns it into a recommendation from the sender. Nice bit of free advertising for negligible outlay.
