Today in unsubstantiated **** news, market leaders Fitbit pull out of industry they dominate, after buying Pebble, to focus on something else entirely.
Next week, Sony pull out videogame marketplace to focus on food.

I have the Xiaomi Mi Band 1s and a Fitbit Charge 2. I would not have chosen to buy the Fitbit but my daughter bought it for me for my birthday. Although the bit about the step counting being more accurate,i can't comment on that as i haven't noticed but some have commented that even when typing, that can add to the step counting but not the Fitbit. With the Fitbit Charge 2 there's a lot more detail to it and you can input your food for it to calculate calories and any liquids that you may take during the day and give you results of how you are doing. The sleep monitor is better on the Fitbit as is the heart rate monitor. there's so much more to a Fitbit. It depends what you are after and how into step counting you are. I you just want to count steps then a Mi Band is great. If you want something more intense then go for a Fitbit.

Get a Xiaomi Mi Band 2 for £24 instead more accurate for step counting, Fitbits are shockingly inaccurate, I've counted steps and the Fitbits I've had have been as much as 5000 steps out at the end of a day or even just walking to the shops it can say I've done hundreds more, expensive rubbish.

Agree. Mi band 2 is way better. Battery life is easily over a week as well

Heat added, Hopefully paid 79.05 in the end - Watch cost £93.59 with the OP's discount plus 15% off Quidco.
Fingers crossed the discount comes thru for quidco, Zalando are a good company and the fitbit lasts longer than the first one, LOL.
Thanks OP! Head added

£24? Ouch! They're £15 or less. I've had mine for a month and felt ripped off paying £16.70 :-)
Agree, battery life is amazing (lasted 24 days on first charge, and it's down to 86% after 5 days on second charge)..
