looks to me, it's 5.5*0.8=4.4 (2.2 each)

No, the 20% discount comes off the full price, meaning you pay 5.5 - 0.2×(3.72 × 2) = 4.012. But due to rounding you pay £4 exactly. I'll upload a pic of my receipt later.

Thanks for the clarification... is there any limit how many you can buy?

As many as are on the shelf.
If you have a £3 off £30+ spend voucher which Waitrose sent out recently, you could use that if you buy eight plus a free coffee (or something worth 24p+), which would bring the price down to £1.625 each.

So, you mean the minimum spending of £30 is the total amount before the discount? Are you sure about that? I
so, you mean the minimum threshold of £30 pounds is the total amount BEFORE any discount taken off, are you sure about that? I've never used waitrose voucher, but none of other supermarket works this way, eg tesco. Thanks!

Yes definitely! Even your free coffee & Waitrose food mag count towards it. [At least, it works like that in-store. Maybe not online.]
Combining multi-buys with Pick Your Own Offers can really help bump up your pre-discounts spend (apart from being excellent value anyway). A few current examples (all end 8 August): - 3 packs Quorn sausages £3.50, counts as £7.50 towards voucher threshold - 3 ready meals £4.41, counts as ~£7.90 towards threshold - 3 Ariel washing gel £7, counts as £15 towards threshold

I can only pick felix Chicken & Kidney, Duck & Lamb, Rabbit & Poultry, Turkey & Liver with this offer. I'm not sure if my cat is going to like it, that damn little thing seems to like only fish pouches now. :disappointed:
Very good price anyway. I bought the fish selection and the mix selection too as I couldn't resist the deal. The little devil seems to like the Duck & Lamb and the Rabbit & Poultry
