Cracking deal, I prefer using the smaller tools these days - too much fatigue with bigger ones!

is 10.8 v really powerful enough? expecially for impact driver?

Havent used these particular tools, but borrowed a friends 10.8v Metabo set. Was more then capable of going into brick and block with a 8 & 13mm bits. The driver was so powerful I managed to break a few housings I was screwing into the wall as the screws went in with so much ease. Really hadn't expected it to be so powerful confused so took me a while to get used to it.
I think other then large diameter bits into dense masonry, large screws into hardwood, etc 10.8v tools are more then capable. Especially for DIY. I know a few carpenters who have switched to 10.8v.
Only reason I didn't go 10.8v was B&Q had a great deal on a Bosch with 3 batteries at the time.

Not a hammer drill so not really suited to masonry. Otherwise I agree - 10.8V is powerful enough for most jobs and much easier to handle. I have the DeWalt equivalent set which I love, but it was quite a lot more than this. And 4.0Ah batteries is very impressive at this price.

I have a 10.8v Makita impact driver which is up to most jobs, even decent with wheel lug nuts after initially being cracked with wrench or after when putting back on.. plus, you feel like you're doing a F1 tyre change with the noise... Or maybe that's just the kid in me! Lol

Have to to laugh at a British company giving their Chinese made own brand products a German sounding name
Good deal anyway, have some heat.

These cheap drills all come from the same Chinese factory and are re-badged! I have a ebrauer sharing the same batteries as my "guild from argos"
Screwfix probably marks these up more than any other outlet COLD!!
Batteries and chargers interchangeable simlair plastic casing and same internals

But this one comes with 2 x 4.0ah batteries as opposed to the 1.5 or 2.0ah in your links.

1.5 ah is plenty of juice for a days DIY, i am a "serious" DIY'er and i havent ran out of juice mid project.
I'd be more concerned with the torque i doubt the little 10v imapct gun will be man enough

Totally agree, 1.5Ah is ample for the average DIYer, 2 even better,
BUT, when you can get, as you claim, the same rebadged set with 2 x 4.0Ah batteries for the same price, its a no brainer...
Re torque ; again using your DIY example, 90nm is plenty, anyone new to impacts should try it out in there local DIY/hardware store, they will be pleasantly surprised, 90nm will put a 4' screw into a fence post.
