The detachable mono mesh waist belt has two gear loops and an SM Clip carabiner for simplified gear management and organization.

That's pretty normal, that's why you get rucksack covers and dry sacks.

Yep, just get a waterproof lining for inside. It's what I used on my rock climbing course since they wasn't waterproof

They seem to be out of stock now (all versions). Fingers crossed it wasn't an error price. It's a little worrying that the product pages now '404' rather than simply state out of stock (as others products do).

Neither is this? That said my berghaus one (pulsar 32) has only ever been damp in extremely heavy downpours, it does go through the wash with the gore-tex jacket though and re-proofed at the same time twice a year. Been using it every day for work for over 2 years now.
