I don't think this is especially cheap (unless you are only after one roll). Carpet stores rip you off for underlay, so you are definitely going in the right direction by looking elsewhere, but waffle underlay is cheap as chips (typically <£2 m2) so Screwfix aren't really offering a bargain here! If you are doing a reasonable amount of carpet work you would be better off going to one of the online underlay specialists. They charge delivery, but by the time you order 3 or more rolls delivery charges become insignificant. One of these specialists would sell you PU underlay (a kind of continuous high density sponge which is much better than waffle), for £3-ish per sq metre in 15m2 rolls. A few years ago I put Cloud 9 (11mm PU) through my house at < £3/m2 and expect this will both extend the carpet life AND survive through a carpet replacement (i.e. outlast the current carpet!).
ps I just saw someone recommended TradePriced for Tredaire Dreamwalk. I'd definitely second that (both the underlay and supplier, both of which I've used previously). It's another well regarded 11mm PU like the Cloud 9 above and a competitive supplier!

ps The other thing carpet shops rip you off for is door bars! One of the nice things about using one of the online underlay stores is that they will also supply these at very good prices (often with no extra P&P). Carpet stores may sometimes do good prices on carpets, but it's the accessories they really make their money on!
more expensive, but 15m2 roll. Effectively cheaper per m2 and my choice, more difficult to work with than foam, but not a great deal more, much easier than the hair / fibre underlay.
The rubber tends to lose it's bounce in no time at all and disintegrates, very poor quality in comparison

we are replacing our old treadaire which is similar and has held up well for the past 15 odd years. have also the foam versions but prefer these waffle types.
Edit to say 20 year guarantee too, definite choice

Thank you so much for the advice. I'm currently buying carpets for our house. But the carpet shop say that they charge you extra for fitting carpet that you don't buy them directly. Other than carpet right I don't know where else to look.

One of the suppliers who are worth looking at (who may or may not be one of the cheapest at the moment) - https://www.carpet-underlay-shop.co.uk/products/cloud-9-cumulus-pu-11mm-from-2-83-per-m2
