I already have a Dell 25 D with the black stand so have gone for the 27 with matching black stand. Been on the lookout for one of these for a while but they always seem to be around £350

Nice monitor, got thin bezels, a wide gamut (91% aRGB, 99% sRGB), plenty of inputs and displayport daisy-chaining.

I've got the LG equivalent, and you won't be able to see individual pixels on a screen like this.

They'll replace it if it has 6 or more faulty pixels

Presume if it has 5 or fewer dead pixels on arrival and you are not happy then you can send it back under distance selling regulations? May have to pay for return postage?
Under the Directive on Consumer Rights (2011/83/EC), which replaced Directive 97/7/EC and the UK Distance Seller Regulations (DSR) on 13 June 2014, you may cancel the purchase of an item within 14 days from when the item is received.
Where the item is sent using a tracked service, the date used to calculate the 14 day withdrawal period will be the date on which the item was delivered according to the online tracking information.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform NRG IT Ltd of your decision to withdraw from this contract in writing (which can be via email) within the 14 day withdrawal period.
You are required to send the goods back to us within 14 days from when notice of the cancellation is given. You must bear the cost of returning the goods in all circumstances and we recommend using a tracked and insured courier service.
Doesn't dells own warranty have a zero tolerance for dead pixels. I thought they would replace even if one died. If this doesn't have a dell warranty, id be a little apprehensive buying it.

No. Dell allow up to six faulty pixels, just like pretty much any other monitor manufacturer.
Been out of stock for about two hours now. You might wanna expire.

It depends on whether the pixels are bright or dark. If a panel has just a single bright pixel then Dell would replace it, otherwise it's six dark pixels. Dell have a habit of producing dodgy batches though, and I find light bleed and cross hatching to be bigger problems than bad pixels. Anybody buying this refurb should check if the NRG warranty covers those problems too.

tell me about it, I've always bought Dell monitors over the years and I've had to change at least two monitors every single time (other than a couple 10 or so years ago when the build quality was better)... usually for dead pixels, sometimes for light bleed. If you get more than one dead pixel in an inch squared area of the screen they'll replace it too.
Dell are great at replacements, I've never been confident enough to use a third party seller.
Ultrasharp are fantastic monitors when you get a perfect one.

Lovely monitor. I paid £374 a few months ago and thought it was a pretty fair deal.

Dell are one of the better manufacturers when it comes to dead pixels. They are rarely found or at least the ratio is very low, that is why they (used to?) have that Pixel Perfect guarantee, which is what someone mentioned earlier in the zero tolerance comment.
This monitor is very good, especially good for those who are not quite ready for 4K for whatever reason. The extra screen real estate is one of those things you will never look back from after having, as are the thin bezels and adjustable stand. There are sometimes a few issues with older gfx cards (HDCP?) but it shouldn't affect most people. I highly recommend this, especially at this price.
