Can you thread a nato strap through? looks a bit tight
Answer:
You can install a nato on it but you install it in a different way. First you take off the spring bars, next place strap thru the lugs and last install the spring bars on top of the strap. I did this with a 19mm gray strap.

Answer:
Yes it is replaceable. 7/8" or 2 cm looks to be the size of the bar that goes through the band to watch connector. Remember it is a recessed trapezoid.

It has "preset timers", I want to be able to set the timer like when I cook, I use 2 to 3 minute when broiling steaks... They don't make my model I got about 20 years ago (1846) W-71. I ripped the band off again and this time it ripped the hole in the case. It's thin with a long battery life. They have some G-Shocks with countdown timers but they are so thick!

Have been looking non stop at Casio watches as my hubbys broke and it's a Casio illuminator personal trainer so been trying to replace the strap but there's a piece between metal back and your skin to protect it we cannot identify Anyone know what its called His was grey trying to add pic but cant

i recall back in the 80s the watches went into hyper styling: Colour LCD lines for each second, another colour for minutes etc... loved those watches and sooo creative! - one of my favourites was colour blocks, analogue with digital clocks - awesome! - any one seen anything like that?
But can it do what the James Bond Octopussy watch did? :laughing:
